Who Can Join?

Membership in TARETO is voluntary and open to any Tanzanian citizen aged 18 years and above who is of sound mind. We welcome individuals who are ready to support and advance our vision, mission, and objectives for the community in Msomera and beyond.

Membership Categories

To ensure diverse support and expertise, we offer three categories of membership:

Founding Members: The visionary individuals who spearheaded the establishment of this organization.
Ordinary Members: Individuals who apply for membership and are accepted after fulfilling the requirements set forth in our constitution.
Honorary Members: Prestigious membership awarded to donors, benefactors, and traditional or government leaders who significantly contribute to the organization’s success

Member Rights & Benefits

As a member of TARETO, you have a direct voice in our growth and governance:

Voting Rights: The right to vote, be elected, or participate in the selection of the organization’s leadership.
Participation: The right to attend the General Meeting and contribute to discussions that shape our future.
Transparency: The right to receive regular progress updates and information regarding the organization’s development.
Advocacy: The right to be heard and to defend your interests within the appropriate organizational forums.

Member Responsibilities

Our members are the foundation of our work. Your commitment involves:

Active Attendance: Participating in all meetings where your presence is required to ensure smooth operations.
Financial Support: Paying the prescribed entry fees and annual contributions as determined by the General Meeting.
Mission-Driven Action: Actively seeking out potential donors and partners to help fuel our community projects.
Constitutional Compliance: Adhering to the terms and conditions outlined in the TARETO constitution.

Submit Your Request: Application letters from new members are received by the Executive Secretary.
Review Process: All applications are presented to the General Meeting for discussion and official admission
